good restful stopover place and reasonably priced.
Cautionary note:
The gravel road from Hobas to the Fish River Canyon
view points is not tyre-friendly. The road has many sharp rocks that
can cause impact fractures to car tyres. Drive carefully, keep your eyes
on the road looking for sharp rocks. The nearest tyre repair
facility is at A-Ais, but only carries a limited stock. The nearest
tyre depot is at Keetmanshoop. If driving on Gravel roads in Namibia
we recommend you have two spare wheels. |
