20 Moon Landscape and 21 Welwitschia mirabilis Drive the B2 road from Swakopmund towards Windhoek. About 0.5kms out of town you will see the Martin Luther Steam Engine Monument on your right hand side (south). A further 1.5kms you will see the road sign pointing south to the C28 Khomas Hochland and Namib Naukluft Park. Turn onto this road. and follow the mapped route seen right. After 17kms the sign for the Landscape and Welwitschia Drive.

23 Cape Cross: On the C34 road 120km north of Swakopmund.

This is where, in January 1486, the Portuguese Explorer Diogo Cão Erected a Padrao (Stone Cross) to mark the furthest southerly point that Europeans had reached. Cape Cross is home to the world's largest Cape Fur Seal colony on any mainland. Visiting Hours 10h00 to 17h00

24 Spitzkoppe: On the B2 road about 24km west of Usakos you will see the sign on the north side of the road for Henties Bay. Turn onto the D1930 for about 500m then turn west onto the D1918 for about 28km. The turn north east onto the D1925 for about 6km then arrive at Damara Community gate for the Spitzkoppe.

The Spitzkoppe Inselberg jutting up some 1728 meters over the desert floor dominates the area and makes a most impressive sight. The surrealistic rock features will take you into a 'different world'.

25 Bull's Party and Phillip's Cave Rock Paintings: From Usakos: at the 4 way stop on the B2 road you will see the signs to Philipp's Cave. Turn onto the D1935. After about 10km you arrive at the junction with the D1937 road. Drive this for about 15km arrive at Reception of Ameib Ranch.

Strange and massive rock shapes at the Bull's Party plus the famous Bushman Rock Paintings at the Philipp's Cave make the Ameib Farm a must visit. Good accommodation and camping facilities right in the heart of the beautiful and rugged Erongo Mountains.

27 Paula Cave: The small cave is on a the farm operated by the Erongo Wilderness Lodge. You will need their permission, plus a guide to drive you to the cave. You may even consider a stay-over-night at the Lodge as it makes for an experience with a difference. They have 10 Luxury tented chalets in a dramatic setting of granite boulders with breathtaking views, on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

31 The White Lady of Brandberg: On the C35 Road 10km North of Uis turn west onto the D2359. Drive 21km and arrive at the Daures Guide's office from where you will be escorted on the tour. The White Lady of Brandberg. A painting shrouded in controversy and mystique that became the most famous piece of Rock Art on the continent of Africa. The mural is 5,5meters in length. Many of the other figures on the painting are often overlooked. The mural is a fascinating piece of ancient art giving us an insight to Bushman culture over 2000 years ago.
